About Success
Ever notice how some people seem to have this magical success formula while the rest of us are just trying to figure out what day it is? Life’s a series of questions about success, and honestly, who hasn’t stood there wondering what it’s all about?
In my adventures dealing with all kinds of people and companies, I’ve noticed something a bit mind-boggling—many people just roll through life without ever stopping to ask why or where they’re headed. Why? Because, you know, questioning stuff is overrated.
Once upon a time, I got tangled up in a discussion that left me scratching my head. It turns out there’s no black-and-white answer in life; it’s all just different shades of gray. Society loves to size people up based on their fancy degrees, fat wallets, and how well they conform to the “rules.” But what happens when life throws a curveball?

Most people stumble, especially when faced with a doozy of a challenge. The bigger the challenge, the more they struggle to get back on their feet. If they don’t rise, well, neither do the generations after them. They end up stuck at the point of the fall, playing a confusing game of “Where did success go?” And here come the judges, evaluating the fall like they’ve got a Ph.D. in someone else’s life. It’s like life turns into a reality show, and everyone’s a judge, even those who’ve never faced a similar “accident.”
In a chat with some really smart women—psychologists, psychotherapists, mindfulness coaches, and business gurus—things got interesting. A girl asked a simple question about picking an NLP course, and suddenly, we were knee-deep in a debate about the intricacies of psychology and therapy. But hey, no one bothered to ask the poor girl why she’s into it or what she’s been through.
In my wild journey of professional training, I’ve stumbled upon literature written by people who aren’t even in the same ZIP code as the field they’re discussing. Remember Tesla? Guy had a high school diploma and still managed to flip physics on its head. Meanwhile, there are people out there doing jobs all wrong, armed with their fancy diplomas and copied test answers. And how many doctors are just in it for the paycheck, prescribing pills like it’s a cure-all? Normal in Croatian society, but really, does anyone buy into that?
So, are they successful, these diploma-wielding experts? Do they make society better? What about the real talents, the ones who bust their tails no matter how tough it gets? Success, according to Tony Robbins, often comes from people who’ve been through the wringer and figured out what life’s all about.
Success, my friends, is doing what you love, rocking it, and becoming someone others look up to. It’s admitting when you goof up without beating yourself up too much, chasing your dreams while lifting others up, and just generally being a stand-up person. True success is having a clear conscience, knowing who you are, and having solid connections. It’s about building and protecting your fam. So, if you’ve managed that, you’re like the Yoda of success. And when it comes to dealing with life’s messes, pick someone who gets it, someone you vibe with, because, in the end, you’re the one with the answers.
